800 Developers Compete at Ericsson-sponsored Hackathon at AT&T Developers Summit during 2014 International CES

Ericsson is a sponsor of the Hackathon at the AT&T Developers Summit happening in conjunction with the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. 800 developers have been working round the clock over the weekend to come up with applications on mobile networks on the themes of connected cars, wearable technology, women's innovation and more. Ericsson is sponsoring two prizes, one for women in tech - the best team that had a majority of women - and also the best Internet of Things application using the Ericsson sensor network. The winners, the applications M - for lending money - and Safe Necklace, were announced today in Las Vegas. The list of finalists also included the applications FitBike, RescueRoute, Beacon Assit, ForceNet and Pilot Angel.
