Apr 16, 2014 EDT
Hear the latest trends in Entrepreneurship based on a brand new multiyear survey, plus local stats on how your region ranks
Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) conducts a global survey about the state of entrepreneurship twice a year. Called the Global Entrepreneur Indicator (GEI), the one-of-a kind survey results are garnered from a pool of EO's 9,500 members in 40 countries via 131 chapters worldwide. Some of the good news from the survey shows that there is continued optimism among leading small business owners. It's no surprise that entrepreneurs have learned how to adapt to the current economic-optimism related to starting new ventures.
Rosemary Tan and Blair Assaly from EO talk about US, regional and global trends, what entrepreneurs are seeing locally and what makes them ideal leading indicators of the world economy. EO is a global peer-to-peer network community of entrepreneurs and the world's 'thought leader' on entrepreneurship. EO member companies account for more than US$565 Billion in gross revenues yearly and employ more than 2.2 million people worldwide.
