Interview with Argentinian illustrator Isol

Isol, Marisol Misenta, is an illustrator, cartoonist, painter, graphic artist, poet, singer and composer. She was born in 1972 and lives in Buenos Aires. Isol is considered as the one of the best picturebook artists in the world. On March 26 she was announced as the 2013 recipient of the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award, the world's largest literature award for children and young adults. The award amounts to 5 million Swedish kronor (approx. 542 000 EUR).
